NHCS has a very effective and popular Student Council. The aim of the Student Council is to represent the student body by meeting with the Principal and discussing how the school can improve to further meet student needs and their targets for the school. The Student Council holds numerous events throughout the year for the student as well as putting on a daily concession stand at lunch time.
The money raised through the concession stand has supported events such as Spring Formal Dance, end of year celebrations and purchasing recess equipment for students.
